DROWN THEM OUT
The government attacks those it’s sworn to protect, economic disparity is at an all time high, and free speech is being silenced by corruption and greed. That’s why Fender, manufacturer of one of history’s greatest protest tools - the electric guitar - is standing against tyranny and helping to drown out the oppressive noise of those in charge with the sound of righteous anger.
WINSTON SMITH
GUITAR COLLAB
The sound your revolution makes is crucial. But the way it looks is just as important. Fender has partnered with legendary artist Winston Smith to design a new, limited stratocaster model - the Liberator. The Liberator will feature a pickguard adorned with Smith’s signature anti-government artwork and come in three different body colors: Vigilante (white), Freedom Fighter (yellow), and Renegade (red).
The punk zine
Fender is releasing a zine detailing the history of Fender guitars and rebel music from heavy metal, to rock and roll, to early blues.
Social
animations
Fender is storming social media with a series of rebellious, punk-rock animated videos.
The Fender barge
It’s one thing to sell a bunch of guitars and call it fighting. But we want to put our money where our amps are. That’s why on the 4th of July Fender is going to be orchestrating a disruptive, louder than life concert in the Chicago river directly in front of the Trump tower. The concert, featuring a variety of local metal, punk, and rock bands and headliners like Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, and Slipknot.
